Shortfilm/Visitorfilm
With wit, charm, and a wealth of knowledge, our film takes visitors to the water-themed park at the Krimml Waterfalls on a cinematic journey through the water cycle. Told from the perspective of an old, wise water droplet, young “droplet children” experience how water first came to Earth and how the magnificent Krimml Waterfalls were formed.
Over the course of the four seasons, the fascinating natural scenery of the Hohe Tauern National Park unfolds—at times wild and powerful, at other times calm and dreamlike. In a playful and easily understandable way, the film imparts essential knowledge about the importance of water for this unique region, right at the start of the visitors’ journey.
Presented in CinemaScope on a large screen, the result is an impressive cinematic experience—family-friendly, exciting, and educational at the same time. A surprising twist at the end invites reflection and leaves a lasting impression.
