Interactive Knowledge Communication / Informational Films

How can centuries-old ceiling paintings be brought to life in a new way? For DomQuartier Salzburg, we used artificial intelligence to bring the impressive imagery of the Alexander Cycle to life and transform it into short films. The figures and scenes from the baroque ceiling paintings come alive, offering fascinating access to the stories surrounding Alexander the Great.

In addition to film production, we were also responsible for the interactive implementation. We integrated the animations into an interactive visitor experience that combines art history with modern technology. This allows visitors not only to view the animated imagery, but also to discover the stories behind the paintings in a new and direct way.

The result is an innovative form of digital cultural communication that brings historical art to life and opens up new perspectives on Salzburg’s cultural heritage.
