Client: Stadt Salzburg / Schlossverwaltung Hellbrunn
shortfilm/ Visitorfilm
Another film was created for Hellbrunn Palace, telling the success story of Markus Sittikus: his youth in Rome, the formative impressions of Italian art and architecture, and ultimately his path to becoming Archbishop of Salzburg. Only the change of power following the fall of Wolf Dietrich paved the way for him to realize his dream of building Hellbrunn Palace.
The film transports viewers to the original locations: Hellbrunn, the DomQuartier, and the streets of historic Salzburg. New characters and a familiar companion add another exciting layer to the cinematic universe.
In terms of content and technology, this film represents the most ambitious production in the series to date: more elaborate, more profound, and even more visually impressive. As with its predecessors, the film tells its story entirely without words – carried by a specially composed, expressive score that artfully combines images and emotions.
This creates a captivating experience for visitors to Hellbrunn: emotional, entertaining, and unique in its style.

Task
The client approached us with the task of developing a film that would captivate visitors to the Krimml Waterfalls water park from the very beginning while simultaneously conveying in-depth knowledge. The focus was on a precise depiction of the regional conditions and a generally understandable introduction to the topic of water as a central element of life. Furthermore, animated characters were to be used to convey complex relationships in a vivid and target-group-appropriate manner. It was also important to depict scenarios that are not feasible with conventional film technology.
Implementation
To meet these requirements, the film was designed to present scientifically sound content in an entertaining and accessible way. The impressive power of the Krimml Waterfalls and the unique diversity of flora and fauna in the Hohe Tauern National Park are visually compellingly portrayed. Animated characters guide the viewer through the story and create an emotional connection to the content. In addition, fully 3D animated sequences were deliberately integrated to visualize scientific processes and scenarios that cannot be realized with conventional camera technology. In this way, a broad audience could be addressed and the topics of knowledge transfer and experience quality could be successfully combined.
